Marrow ("we," "us") is a recipe-sharing app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, why, and what control you have over it. We currently operate in the United States only.
We don't collect payment information — Marrow is free.
To run the app: showing your posts to the right audience based on your own privacy setting for each recipe, letting people you interact with see your name and content, sending notifications you've opted into, and keeping the community safe (see Moderation below).
We do not sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
Any recipe you mark public is visible to everyone using the app. A recipe you mark private is visible only to you, until you approve someone's request to see it — you decide who, on a request-by-request basis. Your display name, profile, and public posts are visible to other users; your email address is never shown to anyone else.
New posts are automatically screened for content that violates our guidelines. Users can report a post or block another user; reported content that crosses a threshold is temporarily hidden pending review. This is how we keep the app safe for everyone.
You can edit or delete any of your own content at any time. You can delete your entire account from Settings on your profile — this permanently removes your account, your posts, your photos, and everything connected to them, right away, and can't be undone.
Marrow is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
